 Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary dispute resolution process through which a neutral person helps the disputants reach agreement.  Mediation holds the potential for being less costly and much less acrimonious than litigation.  Mediation process empowers the parties to develop their own agreement and enhance their communication. 

 

Parent Education and Coaching 
Working with one or both parents,

I can be an excellent resources to

support and guide you on a various parenting issues.  If your family is going through divorce or separation, I can coach you on how to talk to your children

about divorce, how to communicate better in order to make the divorce   

a less stressful experience, how to developing parenting plans and many other aspects of

co-parenting. 

Couples Counseling

People in relationship may seek counseling for any number of reasons.  Couples counseling will likely address many aspects of the couple's relationship, although communication tends to be the primary focus.  One of the first steps in improving a relationship is to teach each person how to regulate their emotions, stay calm, and use healthy communication skills to resolve problems new and old. 


 

 

 Divorce Coaching
 

Divorce is a particularly stressful time for individuals and families.  I provide education and coaching for adults and families throughout the divorce process.  This may include helping the couple navigate the logistics of separation, coaching the adults through the emotional rollercoaster of the divorce, and supporting and educating parents on how to make the best decisions for their children.  
 
Individual Therapy 

 I offer individual therapy for adults of all ages.  Treatment areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, difficulties with interpersonal relationships, low self-esteem, life transitions, bereavement, grief and many other problems that may impact your ability to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.  My style is interactive and supportive and my goal is to help you reach your

full potential in all aspects of life.  I utilize an eclectic approach of psychotherapy models, which include cognitive behavioral

therapy, solution focused therapy and family systems therapy.

 

Family Counseling
Family counseling is designed to help families collaborate to address family problems.  Working with a therapist, families can expect to learn to understand one another better, communicate more effectively, and work proactively to disrupt unhealthy patterns. Common family problems include financial issues, chronic illness, separation/divorce or blended family adjustments.
